Ravenswood Mansion
1825 estate house built by James Hazard Wilson II, named after his best man Sam Houston ("the Raven"). The city of Brentwood acquired the property in 2010 and opened it for public events; the mansion now hosts about 75 weddings and gatherings a year on the grounds of Marcelle Vivrette Smith Park. The Governors Club (Pleasant Hill Mansion)
Private country club on 600 acres, with weddings hosted in the 1854 Pleasant Hill Mansion set on the highest hill of the property. Golf-course views, antebellum setting. Members and their guests only.
