These are the questions we hear most. If yours isn't here, contact us and we'll get you an answer.
Most weekends fill up two to three months out, especially in the spring and fall. Book as early as you can and we'll hold the date with a deposit.
We hold your date with a 25% deposit. The balance is due one week before the event. Deposits are non-refundable, but if plans change we'll apply yours to a new date within a year.
We bill overtime at an hourly rate we agree on when you book. If you know you might run long, add the buffer up front.
Yes! Charlie Horse (the trailer) is best outdoors but can fit indoors when there's clearance to tow it in. The Mobile Bar works inside anywhere the room fits it, but can also be setup outside anywhere.
The trailer needs level ground, a spot big enough for the trailer plus our truck to pull in and out, and one standard outlet within 50 feet. Water hookup isn't required. If you have any questions about that, send us a photo of the space and we'll tell you what will work.
Setup and teardown take about 45 minutes each. Add that to the event window when you're planning.
We serve from a covered window on the trailer, and can possibly pull it under overhangs or tents. If the weather turns unsafe (lightning, high winds), we'll talk about moving the portable bar under cover, or rescheduling.
Yes. Tennessee law says we can't sell you the alcohol, so you buy it and we pour it. We'll send a shopping list once the menu and headcount are set, tell you where to buy it, and let you know how much space you'll need to store it. We can also place the order for you, pick it up, and bring it to your event, it just needs to be paid for separately by you.
Yes. Mocktails, sodas, sparkling water, and non-alcoholic beer or wine all get the same menu-building treatment as the cocktail list. Tell us what you want on offer and we'll work it in.
We're TABC licensed and fully insured. If a venue needs certificates, we'll send them over.
Once the menu and headcount are set, we'll send a shopping list with counts by bottle. You buy it and we'll make it work. Buying too little is a bigger problem than buying too much, so we plan on the generous side.
The base rate includes one TABC licensed bartender for up to four hours of service, and the bar rental. A per person fee is included if you’d like us to bring ice, coolers, cups, juices/syrups/mixers/garnish, etc.
Within about 25 miles of Nashville we don't charge a travel fee. Farther into middle Tennessee (out to about 60 miles) we charge a flat $150. Beyond that, we quote the trip. There's a map on the About page.
